"With winding, steep stone paths, not even fit for a car, we made our way uphill through the quiet village of Eze. At the time I was six months pregnant and making frequent stops to admire the sights (or rather, catch my breath). But it was at one of those pauses that I captured this. A simple moment to remember the colors, the spring season, and the architecture. Of all of the photos I took during our ten days in France, this one has always resonated with me. Especially now as I look to life’s simplest moments for joy. A blue sky, a budding flower, a walk with my family - sometimes we just need a reminder to be thankful for the little things."
